MANCHESTER United fans are demanding their club make a move for Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi in the summer transfer window after a 'dream' performance against Manchester City last night.
The 22-year-old Nigerian excited United fans with a resilient defensive display, despite the fact that Leicester eventually lost the game 1-0 thanks to a second-half thunderbolt from Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.
@ManUtd Please sign wilfred ndidi 🙏 #mufc

United seem set for a busy transfer window as they look to overhaul their squad to mount a serious challenge on Champions League qualification next season.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to strengthen his midfield with Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba linked with moves away from Old Trafford.
MUFC should buy ndidi

With just one game remaining, United have ended the season on a dull note, having mathematically failed to land a top four spot and qualify for Europe’s biggest club competition.
Would love @ManUtd to sign Ndidi, sort of signing we need #MUFC

A lack of bite and creativity in attack caused United's limped start to the season, but defensive frailties over the course of the campaign turned that limp into a hobble.
Ndidi could be the ideal man to change that, and to replace Herrera should the Spaniard seal a likely exit.
The pair share the same industrious, high-energy style of play but Ndidi appears to enjoy more success in the role.
The Red Devils have been long-standing admirers of Ndidi's Leicester City teammate, Youri Tielemans, and it appears United fans would be more than happy to see both in red shirts next season.
Tielemans and Ndidi will be dream signings for us #mufc @ManUtd

There are players at Leicester that would easily slot into our team. Pereira, Maguire, Tielemans, Ndidi. #mufc

Ndidi has won more tackles in the Premier League than any other player since his arrival in the country back in 2017.
Perhaps the calming presence of this serial-tackling could be enough to even steady the recently-trembling hands of David De Gea?
