The individual who allegedly assaulted Roy Keane on Sunday has been released on bail, confirmed the Metropolitan Police on Tuesday.
After the Manchester United and Arsenal game ended on Sunday, a video emerged online showing Keane, fellow Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards, and the unnamed man involved in an altercation.
The incident is said to have occurred near the end of the game when Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho had his goal ruled out in the 88th minute. Arsenal went on to win the game 3-1.
Keane and Richards were working at the game and were heading towards the pitch for pundit duties when the alleged incident occurred in the area known as the 'West Stand.'
A statement from the Met Police shortly after read: "Police are investigating following an assault that is alleged to have occurred at the Emirates Stadium during an Arsenal vs. Manchester United match on Sunday, 3 September."

The man in question was arrested shortly after the incident.
The Metropolitan Police have now released another statement confirming that he has been granted bail: "Police are investigating an incident at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 3 September, during which a man was assaulted.
"On Monday, 4 September, a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault (ABH).
"The man was taken into police custody before being released on bail until a date in late September.
"Inquiries are ongoing."
