Lowe and Kelleher sign new Leinster deals

Ireland internationals James Lowe and Ronan Kelleher have followed the likes of James Ryan and Josh van der Flier in signing new deals at Leinster this week.

Lowe has been a star player for Leinster since moving from his native New Zealand in late 2017, scoring 50 tries in 71 games for Leo Cullen's side.

The 30-year-old has also 9 tries in 20 caps for Ireland.

Lowe during his time at Leinster has won the PRO14 title in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, and in that time also won a European Cup in 2018.

Hooker Kelleher, 25, was an integral member of Andy Farrell's Six Nations Grand Slam-winning Ireland squad. He also scored three tries to earn himself a place in the Team of the Tournament.

He featured 43 times for Leinster since making his debut in 2019.

There has been no confirmation how long the length of the contracts for both players are.

Both players will be integral for Leo Cullen’s side when they play Toulouse in the Champions Cup semi-final later this month.

In other contract news Leinster also confirmed that centre Liam Turner has extended his contract with the Irish province.

Next up for Leinster they face The Emirates Lions in South Africa in the United Rugby Championship.

That game starts at tommorow at 3pm.

The game starts live on TG4, Premier Sports and URC TV.
