Kerry's star forward, Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh, has been named as the Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month for her outstanding performance in July.
Hailing from the Corca Dhuibhne club, the 32 year-old, Ní Mhuircheartaigh has been a driving force behind Kerry's journey to their second consecutive TG4 All-Ireland senior final.
With an impressive total score of 4-24, she currently holds the title of the highest scorer in the All-Ireland series, as Kerry sets its sights on breaking a three-decade-long Brendan Martin Cup drought.
The upcoming clash at Croke Park on August 13th will see the Munster side taking on Dublin, aiming to overcome the disappointment of last year's final loss to Meath.

In the month of July alone, Ní Mhuircheartaigh left her mark with 0-5 against Cavan, 0-3 in the quarter-final victory over Meath, and a remarkable 1-10 against Mayo in an exceptional individual performance during the semi-finals. This outstanding showing earned her the well-deserved Player of the Match award.
Notably, Ní Mhuircheartaigh, a seasoned inter-county player and three-time All-Star recipient, will step into the role of on-field captaincy for the All-Ireland decider due to the absence of the injured skipper, Síofra O’Shea.
