ROBERT Emmetts manager Kevin McMullan and St Gabriels legend Ambrose Gordon have put their club rivalries to one side to pick the Irish Post’s XV of the 2015 London Senior Hurling Championship.
Seven of the 15 players selected have shiny new medals to their name, with Robert Emmetts dominating the team on the back of their superb performances in the semi-final and Sunday’s final.
Beaten finalists St Gabriels boast five players in the squad, while Peter Phelan of Cú Chuláinns is the only representative of another club outside the ‘big three’.
That leaves room for just two players from 2014 champions Kilburn Gaels, but the plaudits must go to Robert Emmetts for coming from the depths of despair to securing their sixth senior title.
