LONDON IRISH RFC are inviting school children under the age of 16 to design their traditional St Patrick’s Day jersey for 2017.
Each year the club wear a one-off shirt to commemorate St Patrick’s Day in celebration of their Irish roots, and this season one young fan will be the designer.
The ‘Design the Shirt’ competition deadline is October 31, and the winning entry will be chosen by the players themselves, before then being made available to buy next year.

Entries can be submitted to the London Irish team in the hospitality reception at the Madejski Stadium, by email to [email protected], or by post to: London Irish Rugby Football Club, Hazelwood, Hazelwood Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 6QU.
Those who wish to enter can click here to download the St Patrick’s Day Jersey Competition template, or visit Digger’s Pound at the Madejski Stadium this weekend before the game against Connacht Eagles, where templates will be made available for kids to complete.
Last year’s design was exclusively designed by world-renowned designer Orla Kiely and raised money for Cancer Research UK.
