Brian Lohan is set to continue his role as the Clare hurling manager for a fifth consecutive year. However, there may be changes in his coaching staff, with details on coaches or selectors yet to be officially announced until next month.
During his four-year tenure, Lohan has had Sean Treacy, a former Galway defender, as one of his coaches, with James Moran and Ken Ralph also contributing to the backroom team.
Lohan is a renowned figure in Clare's hurling history. He excelled as a full-back during the 1990s and early 2000s. He also played a pivotal role in securing two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships for Clare in 1995 and 1997, ending an 81-year drought. Lohan received two All-Star awards for his outstanding defensive skills and leadership on the field. Post-retirement, he remained involved in the sport, taking on coaching and managerial roles, including serving as Clare's senior hurling manager.
