STEVE Collins has added fuel to his on-going feud with Chris Eubank, criticising the British fighter for not including him in a recent TV documentary on the British boxer’s career.
Collins suggested that Eubank excluded him from the documentary because he “perhaps hasn’t got over” the night in 1994 when Collins stripped Eubank of his WBO Super Middleweight title.
The 49-year-old boxer reflected on the biggest night of his career - 20 years ago – during an interview with the Irish Post which you can listen to above.
He also revealed that he now believes his much touted comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr will now not happen.
Collins was speaking on the eve of his son, Steve Collins Jr’s fourth professional bout this Saturday on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s bout with Joey Abell at London’s Copper Box Arena.
The son and namesake of the former Irish WBO super-middleweight champion, Collins Jr will be fighting for the fourth time since turning pro last summer.
