Leinster's lineup for the opening round of the BKT United Rugby Championship clash against Glasgow Warriors was finalised this week.
Scott Penny has been appointed captain for the first time in a competitive fixture, having previously led the team in two of Leinster’s pre-season matches. The backline features Ciarán Frawley at full-back, flanked by Tommy O’Brien and Jordan Larmour on the wings. In the midfield, Liam Turner and Charlie Ngatai have formed a promising partnership, while Harry Byrne and Luke McGrath are set to play as the province's halfbacks.
In the pack, Jack Boyle earns his first competitive start, anchoring the front row alongside John McKee and Thomas Clarkson. Ross Molony and Jason Jenkins will start in the second row. The team is completed by a back row trio consisting of Max Deegan, Scott Penny, and James Culhane.
