Leinster vs Leicester Tigers quarter-final set for Good Friday

Leinster's Champions Cup quarter-final against Leicester Tigers will take place on Good Friday.

Leo Cullen's men overcame Ulster 30-15 at the Aviva Stadium last weekend and will now face the Gallagher Premiership side in the same venue this coming bank holiday.

Leicester beat Edinburgh at Welford Road on Friday and will now face a difficult test against the United Rugby Championship leaders.

The game between the two teams is scheduled for an 8pm kickoff at the Aviva.

The quarter-final will be broadcast live on RTÉ and on BT Sport.

Ticket information can be found here.

The Irish Times reports that the Aviva Stadium is expected to be at a reduced capacity for the game, around 27,000, although that could change in the event of exceptional demand.

In the other games this weekend, Toulouse will face the Cell C Sharks and Exeter Chiefs will meet the DHL Stormers on Saturday at 5.30pm.

Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle will take on Saracens on Sunday at 3pm.

If Leinster overcomes Leicester, they will face the winner of the Toulouse v Sharks game on the weekend of 28-30 April.
