The nominees for the TG4 Senior Players' Player of the Year Award, the TG4 Intermediate Players' Player of the Year Award, and the TG4 Junior Players' Player of the Year Award were announced today. Kerry’s All-Star Kayleigh Cronin, Galway’s Nicola Ward, and Armagh’s Lauren McConville are in contention for the senior award.

All three players have also been nominated for TG4 All-Star Awards.

The Intermediate shortlist consists of Leitrim duo Michelle Guckian and defender Charlene Tyrell, along with Tyrone's Aoibhinn McHugh.

Finally, Fermanagh pair Bláithín Bogue and Eimear Smyth, along with Louth star Kate Flood, will battle it out for the Junior award.

The nominees in all three categories were selected by their fellow players, who were not permitted to vote for their own teammates.
