In a statement released by Armagh GAA, it was revealed that this decisive determination was reached through the collective consensus of club representatives during a County Committee meeting.
McGeeney’s future had been up in thr air since the Championship exit against Monaghan last month, but he decisively won a vote among county board delegates on Monday evening with 46 in favour and only 16 against.
"Following the County Committee meeting held today, the resounding endorsement and confirmation of Kieran McGeeney as the Senior County Football Manager for the entirety of the 2024 season have been enthusiastically ratified by club delegates," said a Twitter post

McGeeney joined Armagh in 2014, initially serving as head coach and was then elevated to the position of manager during the following season.
He now holds title of the lengthiest-serving inter-county manager, an accolade earned by Colm Collins' departure from his role within the Clare footballers in the month of June.
In the present year, Armagh advanced to the Ulster SFC final, but were beaten by the reigning champions Derry in a closely contested match that extended into penalties. This was followed by the All-Ireland quarter-final defeat against Monaghan
