UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov has taunted Irish fighter Conor McGregor after the Dubliner labeled him a ‘b****’ on Instagram.
The Irishman’s social media post also appears to contradict comments attributed to him during their fight last October.
McGregor and Nurmagomedov had verbally taunted each other during the build-up, but when the Russian landed a flurry of ground-and-pound blows during the fight itself, he told McGregor: “Let’s talk now.”
Afterwards, a cageside mic picked up McGregor’s response at the end of round 3, with some believing he had said: “It’s only business.”
However his Instagram post appeared to refute that as he continued his feud with the Russian.
In the post, McGregor shared a clip of an argument with former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi, saying ‘don’t be a b****, b****ing’.
“The same thing I said to khabib at the end of round 3. My round. Don’t be b****ing!” added McGregor.
Whatever McGregor said, Nurmagomedov was pretty clear in his response to McGregor’s taunts that ‘many individuals in the fight business… are absolute b****es’.
The Russian took to Instagram him to post a picture from the fight, showing McGregor tapping out in the fourth round following a rear-naked choke.
“You will live with this shame all your life,” wrote Nurmagomedov, adding the hashtags #tapmachine #mactaper
