Kerry dominate TG4 All-Star GAA nominations

Fifteen Kerry players have been nominated for a TG4 All-Star Award. The Kingdom ended their 31-year trophy drought last summer, defeating Galway in the All-Ireland final.

Runners-up Galway have nine selections on the nominee list, while Armagh has eight. Dublin has five, and Cork has four. Meath, Kildare, Tipperary, and Waterford each have one player on the shortlist.

Dublin trio Leah Caffrey, Jennifer Dunne, and Carla Rowe make the cut, as do six of last year’s All-Star team, including Eilís Lynch, Niamh Carmody, and Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh.

Kerry’s Ciara Butler is also nominated for the ZuCar Golden Glove Award for her performance as a goalkeeper.

The 2024 TG4 All-Star team will be announced at a gala banquet at the Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Saturday, November 16.

The 2024 TG4 Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Players’ Player of the Year Award winners will also be revealed on the night, along with the 2024 inductee into the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) Hall of Fame.
