Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny has stated that he believes he will not be sacked if Ireland fails to beat the Netherlands tonight in Dublin.
Ireland's chances of reaching Euro 2024 took a major hit on Thursday night in Paris, with a 2-0 loss, making their path to the finals even slimmer.
The Boys in Green are hosting the Netherlands in Dublin tonight in what is described as a 'must-win' game, not only for Ireland but also for Stephen Kenny.
Kenny is facing immense pressure to deliver results for Ireland, and speculation about his departure is growing.
Stephen Kenny's future with Ireland could depend on the next 4 days.

If Ireland were to lose tonight, the calls for Kenny's dismissal would only intensify.
When asked if he believed he would still be in charge if Ireland were to lose, Kenny responded by saying, "Yes, I do, but I am not focused on that now."
Kenny emphasised that his sole focus is on the upcoming game, with everything else being secondary.
"I am solely and absolutely focused on tomorrow night. It's a significant night, a very significant night, and we need a victory. A draw wouldn't mathematically eliminate us, but we are determined to secure a win. Holland, likewise, will be highly motivated to win," he added.
"I have prepared the team for the championships."
When pressed further about his future, Kenny remarked, "We play Holland, then two games in October, and the final qualifier in November. So, yes, I expect to be in charge."
"After that, it's up to other people to decide. Right now, I'm just focused on tonight."
