Former Derry footballer Joe Brolly believes that the Derry board should do the right thing and sack Mickey Harte after their poor showing in the senior football championship this year.
Derry, who were tipped to do big things in the Championship this year in Harte's first year at Derry, lost 0-15 to 0-10 to Kerry in Croke Park last Sunday.
Many would look past a defeat to Kerry and acknowledge the McKenna Cup and Division One titles, but Harte's side lost four championship games before the Kerry defeat.
Brolly believes it's time for the Derry board to let Harte go and explained why on his podcast this week.

"I do not expect Mickey to do the decent thing," said Brolly on the Free State Podcast.
"I don't think it is in his nature. The Derry board needs to step in now, do what's right, and bring an end to this agony, because that's really what it's been.
"It's been absolute agony, and it's alright; I have been there and done it. I'm happy with my Derry-ness and my loyalty to Derry.
"But what about our boys who are out there, in the most important years of their careers?
"Their careers are being flushed down the toilet by a fellow who hasn't a clue about how to play in the modern game, whose almost every decision has been catastrophic, and who has seen the team serially humiliated."
Sean Cavanagh holds a similar view to Brolly. He believes that it will ultimately be decided by the Derry board.
"It is hard to say. I suppose that decision is for the Derry County Board," he said of Harte's future on the Sunday game.
"I think if you asked anyone in Derry tonight, winning a league does not mean an awful lot when you go through a championship where you have lost four games, drawn one, and beaten a Division Three team.
"That is a poor championship season.
"With the personnel and the quality they have in that group, and they have a couple of really cracking minor teams—from last year's winners to this year's, which is back in the final—there is a lot to be envious of in terms of talent in the county.
"But the championship simply has not been anywhere near good enough."
