JOCKEY Ruby Walsh looks likely to miss the rest of Cheltenham festival after suffering a suspected broken leg during a race this afternoon.
Walsh, who has recently just recovered from a broken leg, suffered a fall at the penultimate jump while riding Al Boum Photo in the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham.
He was removed from the racecourse by ambulance.
He is expected to have an x-ray on the injured leg later today which will determine it’s recovery.
If a fracture is confirmed, it’s likely he could be out of the saddle for quite some time.
The injured leg is believed to be the same one he broke last November.
