DONEGAL boxer Jason Quigley extended his unbeaten professional career to seven wins in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old clinched a second-round knockout of Tom Howard. He dropped his American super-middleweight opponent twice in the second round before the referee stopped the fight.
Quigley, a World Championship silver-medallist as an amateur, has won all seven of his professional bouts by knockout or stoppage.
Howard, 23, a native of Mississippi, had won eight of his previous eleven professional fights before challenging Quigley.
