Jack Grealish kept a promise he made to a young Man City fan with cerebral palsy by celebrating in the Iran win

ENGLAND SUPERSTAR JACK GREALISH kept a promise he made to a young Man City fan with cerebral palsy by celebrating in England's game with Iran

For context, a video went viral where 11-year-old City fan Finlay wrote to Grealish.

Finlay suffers from cerebral palsy and sent the City star a letter thanking him for raising awareness about the condition.

Grealish's sister has the same condition and the England star has been vocal about how much he cares for his sister.

"I wish there were more people in the world just like you who treat people with disabilities the same as anyone else," said the letter

"It makes me really happy when I see that you, a famous footballer, knows what it’s like to live with people with cerebral palsy.

"You’re my hero and the best big brother to your sister.

My dream is to meet you and give you a high five. Imagine meeting your idol!"

The City fan got his wish soon after the letter was sent

The pair exchanged words in the video. Grealish told Finlay that he would do a celebration of his choice when he scored his next England goal.

Finlay asked Grealish to do the WWE worm but after a long drawn out process, the pair agreed for Grealish to do a much easier dance

Today England won 6-2 against Iran in their opening game of the World Cup.

Grealish managed to score and kept his promise to the young City fans by performing the dance they agreed on.

Grealsih received widespread praise for remembering young Finlay on a day when it would have passed him by

One fan said: "I was heartbroken when he left Villa but I understand why. He’ll always be one of our own. Jacky ``bloody” Grealish!!"

While another said: "Grealish has always had good energy about him."

England's next game will be against the USA on Friday 19.00
