CONOR McGREGOR is without doubt the most famous Irishman in America right now, but the result of the US Election Night is of little interest to the Dubliner.
In a surprise outcome, Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States.
The controversial 70-year-old will take up one of the most powerful positions in the world, yet Dubliner McGregor – who spends much of his time in the US – “could not give a b******s”.
Currently in New York for his fight with Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 this Saturday night, McGregor was asked for his thoughts on Election Night by broadcasters BT Sport.
“The whole thing is just weird to me. I don’t think anything’s going to change. I think the public are just brainwashed,” he said.
