AN IRISH DAD has become an internet hit after his unassuming son tweeted that he'd spotted his 'missing' dad on the nine o'clock news on RTÉ.
William Murphy was clueless over his father's whereabouts last Friday, when suddenly he saw him on TV, dressed in green, amongst a hoard of Irish fans.
Mr Murphy had actually travelled over to Bosnia for the first leg of Ireland's play-off tie, which they won 3-1 on aggregate.
