Ireland's Abbie Larkin has signed for Glasgow City. The 18-year-old forward is making the move to the Scottish Premier League from Shamrock Rovers.
The Dublin native was a part of Ireland's World Cup squad in Australia and New Zealand this year and is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming talents in Ireland.
Glasgow City's new acquisition also played in all three of Ireland's group games and, in turn, became the youngest Irish player ever to play at a World Cup this year.
Larkin began her career with Shelbourne, where she won back-to-back Women's National League titles, including a double in 2022. She then moved to Shamrock Rovers.
Speaking about the move, Larkin admitted she was delighted to make the switch.

"I'm delighted to be signing for Glasgow City FC. I’m excited to get started and I am looking forward to this next step in my career," Larkin told the club website.
Glasgow manager Leanne Ross said the signing of Larkin would strengthen their attacking options.
"Although just 18 years of age, Abbie has already played in the Champions League and represented the Republic of Ireland at the World Cup Finals this summer, achievements which highlight the caliber of player she is.
"Abbie is a technically gifted, creative player with an eye for goal. She can play in attacking midfield or forward positions and will certainly add to the attacking threat posed by the team with her ability to assist and score goals."
Larkin's new side, Glasgow City, will face Dundee United this Sunday in their season opener.
