IRELAND will host the USA in an international friendly on Tuesday 18 November at the Aviva Stadium.
The FAI confirmed that the fixture will take place four days after Martin O’Neill’s side face Scotland in their Euro 2016 qualifier at Celtic Park in Glasgow.
USA manager Jürgen Klinsmann will take his squad to Dublin following their dramatic exit to Belgium in the knock-out stages of the 2014 World Cup, where goalkeeper Tim Howard made 16 record saves during the game.
Prior to the USA tie, Ireland face Oman in a friendly on September 3 before kicking-off their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign against Georgia on September 7 before taking on Gibraltar (October 11) and Germany (October 14).
