Ireland name team for final Six Nations game against Scotland

Ireland's team to face Scotland in the final game of the 2024 Six Nations has been released today. Andy Farrell has made no changes to the side that narrowly lost to England at Twickenham last weekend.

A back three of Hugo Keenan, James Lowe, and Calvin Nash, who has overcome his HIA, all start.

Ireland also goes with an unchanged midfield of Bundee Aki and Robbie Henshaw, despite the return of Gary Ringrose. He starts on the bench.

In the halfbacks, the ever-present Jack Crowley and Jamison Gibson-Park continue their partnership.

The front row of Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, and Tadhg Furlong that started in England also retains its place. Joe McCarthy and Tadhg Beirne start as the country's locks.

The side is completed by a back row of Captain Peter O’Mahony, Josh van der Flier, and Caelan Doris.

The Ireland coaching team has opted for a 5-3 split on the bench, with Rónan Kelleher, Cian Healy, Finlay Bealham, Ryan Baird, and Jack Conan providing the reinforcements up front, and Conor Murray, Harry Byrne, and the fit-again Ringrose as the backline options.

The clash against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium will kick off at 4.45 p.m. Saturday's match is also live on Virgin Media One and ITV, with live radio coverage available on RTE Radio 1.
