AFTER having such an impressive Euro 2016 campaign for Ireland in which he scored a brilliant goal against Sweden, Wes Hoolahan’s stock continues to rise.
The German media nicknamed Hoolahan ‘The Irish Messi’ during the tournament in France and going by his latest strike they are certainly justified in giving him such a title.
The Irish playmaker continued where he left off in the summer tournament by scoring an absolute wonder goal for Norwich in their pre-season friendly against Coventry City on Tuesday.
Okay, it’s only a friendly, but still, what a belter. It’s a must see.
