Ipswich fan reveals why he and Roy Keane got into a heated debate

The fan who was on the receiving end of Roy Keane's callout after the Ipswich and Manchester United game on Sunday has shared a series of Facebook posts about the incident and revealed why he started the verbal feud.

United and Ipswich drew 1-1 at Portman Road on Sunday afternoon, but one of the day's key moments came from a confrontation between Keane, the former United captain, and an Ipswich fan in the crowd.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Keane, who was working as a pundit, can be seen calling out the fan after an exchange of words. Keane is heard saying, "I'll meet you in the parking lot." He eventually returned to the punditry team.

The fan, identified as Neil Finbow, has since posted several updates on Facebook. In one post, he wrote, "New claim to fame: just been offered out into the car park by Roy Keane after a few choice words. Even Jamie Redknapp had to come over to get him away—just your average Sunday evening out."

In a separate post, Finbow shared video footage of the incident with cry-laughing emojis and the caption, "Offering us all outside."

Finbow also explained why he called out Keane. According to him, his frustration stems from Keane's tenure as Ipswich manager, which he believes harmed the club. Keane's Ipswich side finished 15th in the championship during his only full season, and he was eventually sacked.

"Yep, I did remind him he set us back five years and ruined our football club. I also mentioned he wasn't fit to step foot anywhere near our ground," Finbow wrote on Facebook.

He continued: "Oh, and I brought up him walking out on a World Cup, breaking [Alf-Inge] Haaland's leg, and putting it in his autobiography. I hate the guy, and that's been boiling up since he got sacked all those years ago."
