CONOR MCGREGOR made another memorable appearance on US talk show Conan last night as he prepares to face Khabib Nurmagomedov this weekend.
It has now become a tradition for the Irish fighter to shoot the breeze with US chat show host Conan O'Brien ahead of a fight, and he was full of banter this time around.
McGregor last appeared on the show ahead of his defeat to Floyd Mayweather last year, but his presence this time marked the champion's return to the octagon.
He faces the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov on Saturday night in Las Vegas, and according to the Crumlin man, his upcoming opponent fears him.
Speaking about their heated press conference in New York a couple of weeks ago, McGregor said: "His eyeballs turned to glass, the blood rushes from his body and sprints out of his arse."
McGregor was happy to chat about how his opponent wrestled bears since he was a kid, but the Irishman insisted that Khabib has never "wrestled an Irish gorilla before".
Host Conan then turned the attention to McGregor's loss to Floyd Mayweather
The Notorious admitted that Mayweather "beat me fair and square" but he also talked about his predisposition for "fighting from the back" against the boxer - something that the referee was heavily officiating during the fight, as per the rules of boxing.
McGregor also revealed that a Lithuanian sculptor created a marble statue of him, which he keeps in his garage.
Not satisfied with just dominating the UFC, McGregor launched his own whiskey brand in recent weeks, and couldn't help but promote the new spirit on prime time television.
After raising a toast to the fight, McGregor said: "I'm two days away from the biggest fight of my life, so I'm only going to drink half the bottle!"
Conor McGregor will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for UFC 229 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this coming Saturday, 6 October.
The fight card will be taking place from around midnight UK time, with the headline lightweight bout of McGregor vs Nurmagomedov due at around 3am BST.
However, if fights go the distance, it could be an even later start.
