ICYMI: See this young Irish fan meet his Liverpool heros at Anfield's training base

Liverpool Football Club released a heartwarming video on their social media channels on Christmas Day. Monaghan native Dáire Gorman, who was born with Crommelin Syndrome, had his Christmas wishes come true because of the club's kind gesture.

The 12-year-old, born without arms from his elbow down and without the femur bone in both legs, is a full-time wheelchair user. The condition affects about four people worldwide, but that hasn't stopped Daire from supporting his beloved football team in Liverpool.

Back in September, Dáire was involved in a viral video where he visited Anfield. The Monaghan youngster could be seen crying as the stadium sang "You'll Never Walk Alone."

The clip garnered millions of views on social media, and as a result, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and the players saw the video and decided to invite Dáire and his family to Liverpool's AXA Training Centre to meet the players and the manager.

"I just want to let you know we all saw the video of you at Anfield when you were listening to 'You'll Never Walk Alone,'" said Klopp in his message to Dáire.

"The players and I absolutely love your passion for the club, so we want to do something for you to say thank you.

"We are going to invite you and your family to Liverpool to meet the players and watch us train."

The Monaghan youngster could be seen talking to Klopp, and the German explained how he knew how Dáire felt about Liverpool's famous anthem.

"I watched the first video again this morning when you were listening to 'You'll Never Walk Alone,' my friend. What I really love about it is that I'm a bit older, but it's so similar to what you felt in that moment to what I feel in moments. This song obviously means a lot to you, and it means a lot to me too," said Klopp in the video.

"I could really feel your emotions in that moment. I loved the phrase when you said, 'Do you treat Liverpool like your best friend?' Yeah. Do you remember when you had that feeling for the first time?"

Dáire responded by saying, "I'd say probably the night we beat Barcelona in the Champions League. I'd say it was the best night ever."

Klopp then laughed and said, "That's not a bad moment. Yeah, and in these games, football is not the most important thing in life."

In the rest of the clip, Dáire can be seen meeting the likes of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Mohammed Salah, and others.

At the end of the video, Dáire expresses his gratitude for the chance to meet his heroes and thanks everyone involved for helping him with his special day.

"It was fantastic for me; thank you very much. He's just like everybody says, just a normal person, but he's my football manager. It's mad, yeah. I'm just so grateful for it all. I can't believe I came back to Liverpool again to do all this, and I can't put it into words. It's been an absolutely magical few hours. It's almost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said the Monaghan boy.

The video has received millions of views on social media and has received huge praise from corners of the internet and even rival fans.

"I’m an Evertonian, but I must say that Klopp is just an awesome manager and has a big heart. I’m proud to be from Liverpool after living in the U.S. for 42 years. The people of Liverpool are second-to-none in the world. I always look forward to returning to Liverpool. The young man definitely has a good head on his shoulders," said one YouTube comment.

"Just forget about rivalry for 9 minutes and watch this beautiful video. Absolutely amazing stuff. Massive respect to Klopp and the players for doing this," said another user on X.

While another said, "Ahhhh, bless him, man. Lovely, lovely content. Honestly as well, the connection Klopp has with Liverpool and their fans is incredible, even from an outsider. Far superior to footballing factors, it’s honestly just a match made in heaven for the two. They hit the jackpot with him."
