IRELAND face Scotland on Sunday in their historic bid to land a third consecutive Six Nations title.
Interim coach Simon Easterby got his campaign off to a flying start last weekend with a 27-22 win over England at the Aviva, while Scotland defeated Italy 31-19 at Murrayfield.
However, one nation's Grand Slam hopes will end this afternoon and the history books say the odds are in Ireland's favour.
Ireland have won the last 10 meetings between the sides and 14 of the last 15, with Scotland's last win coming in the 2017 Championship, a 27-22 win at Murrayfield.
You have to go back to 1999 for the last time Scotland managed consecutive victories over Ireland, that 30-13 win at Murrayfield the last game in an undefeated run of 11 wins in 12 over the Irish.
Last time out
Ireland started sluggishly against England at the Aviva last Saturday, trailing 10-5 at the break.
However, Easterby's charges upped their game in the second half, scoring 22 points without reply after the restart.
The concession of two late tries was disappointing but by then the job was done for the dominant hosts.
Scotland also began their campaign at home, scoring five tries against Italy at Murrayfield.
The hosts led 14-0 after nine minutes but four Tommaso Allan penalties and a Juan Ignacio Brex try (converted by Allan) saw them level the game at 19-19 shortly after the restart.
However, two Huw Jones tries saw him complete his hat-trick as Scotland comfortably saw the game out.
