NHL Division 2A: London v Kerry, Sunday, Ruislip, 2pm
LONDON host top of the table Kerry in Ruislip on Sunday in the knowledge that their survival in Division 2A is secure.
Speaking to The Irish Post, manager Tommy Harrell confirmed that there are no injury concerns ahead of the weekend fixture.
“Everyone’s fit and well, thank god. We have a full squad available for selection. We had a good turnout at training last night, and hopefully we can give a good performance ourselves on the day."
Kildare’s 1-14 to 3-11 defeat to Westmeath at the weekend sees them relegated, and Harrell said that “part one” of his ambitions for the season is now complete.
“The Kildare win was vital,” he said of London’s victory over the Lilywhites in the last round. “Our objective at the beginning of the year was to survive in Division 2A and we’ve achieved that. That’s part one of our objective.
“Part two, is to try and remain in the Liam MacCarthy Cup. We could be higher placed in the league.
"We missed a lot of goal chances against Derry away – it was a match we could have won, but considering the beginning of the year we had, all is good. Everyone is ready for the table toppers this weekend."
