Cu Chulainns

Sean Kelly is returning to live in Ireland as of this coming weekend.

He played football for Cu Chulainn’s for the last four years and was also being a regular on the London Senior team, where he especially impressed during their great run to the Connacht final last year.

Sean also played soccer with Redhill.

Sean recently debut as a hurler for the Cu Chulainn club, lining out at centre field and scoring a great long range point, whilst being unlucky with a few more efforts.

Sean together with girlfriend, Fr Murphy’s Ladies football captain Sinead White, are moving to Ireland on Sunday evening, after the Cu Chulainn’s championship match with Tara.

The Cu Chulainn club would like to wish Sean and Sinead all the best for the future.

KKG

Kingdom Kerry Gaels drew with St Kierans in their final group game of the senior championship on Saturday evening last in Ruislip. This was a must win game for the Kingdom but were to be denied by score difference to progress to the semi-final of the championship. The first half was hard fought with both sides trading scores with a single goal between the  teams at half time. KKG started the second half with a lot more intent which resulted in reducing the half time margin. Kingdom Kerry Gaels drew level from a well converted penalty and with both teams trading further scores. In the end time ran out but KKG can take a lot from their second half display.

Kingdom Kerry Gaels play Tir Conaill Gaels in the Division 1 of the senior league this Tuesday evening 5th August at 7.30pm in Greenford.
