LONDON could play all of their Allianz National League games away from home in 2017.
The move may come on the back of the Irish TV Grounds in Ruislip being closed for redevelopment, with completion not due until May 14, 2017.
On the flipside of the financial burden of repeatedly travelling to Ireland, London GAA would benefit from being able to stage all of their 2018 league games in their new ground.
However, Central Council in Croke Park are yet to confirm if this will be the case, although it is under consideration by the GAA.
Central Council’s official alternative to Ruislip is Birmingham’s Pairc na hEireann, which is a logical option should London end up playing their league games in Britain next year.
Work finally started on Ruislip in June after years of delays and the ground is currently a building site, while the plans for the stand have been reduced from 2,330 seats to 1,950.
