CLUB NOTICES
Father Murphys
Last year, Midas Productions, travelled to London to film content for a TV documentary Home from Home, highlighting Gaelic Clubs abroad, in New Zealand, Dubai, Canada and they chose to feature the Fr Murphy’s GAA Club from Britain.
The Club planned a whole day of matches, but were disappointed to have been refused Ruislip for the day, but were grateful to Fulham Irish for putting Wormwood Scrubs at our disposal
We had a great day, the pitch was perfect, the Footballers had a massive win, while the Camogie girls also won well, there were underage football and hurling matches and the day was topped off by a thrilling draw in the Hurling between Fr Murphys and Cu Chulainns.
The programme is going out in Ireland on Setanta TV and here in Britain on Premier Sport, Part 1 on Wednesday 27th August at 8 pm and Part 2 on Thursday 28th August at 8.15 pm. You can view on Sky Channel 428 or Virgin Channel 551, further information from www.premiersports.tv.
