Froch believes that Taylor will beat Cameron this weekend

Former professional boxer Carl Froch believes that Katie Taylor will beat Chantelle Cameron, but also went on to say that he doesn't think that Taylor is the best female boxer of all time.

This weekend will see Ireland's Taylor 17-0 (8 KOs) and Cameron 22-0 (6 KOs) take each other on in the 3Arena in the Super Lightweight division.

Despite Taylor's success in the ring since turning professional, Froch believes that Claressa Shields is the best fighter he's ever seen in women's boxing.

Froch also backed Taylor to increase her win record against Cameron this weekend.

Speaking to OLBG, Froch said: "Katie Taylor was a top amateur. In terms of who is better, I would say Claressa Shields because Taylor got lucky on a couple of close wins. Claressa Shields dominates everyone who she is in the ring with. Katie Taylor just outworks everyone. She may be more naturally gifted but I would say Claressa Shields is the better fighter.

"Katie will get past Chantelle Cameron. I think Cameron is a good fighter but Katie outworks her.

"Shields is in my opinion the best female boxer of all time."

The main event is set to get underway at 7 p.m. BST with the main event ring walks scheduled for 10:31 p.m. BST.

The Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron fight is available on DAZN in Ireland, and more than 200 countries.
