Five players released from Ireland training squad

It has been announced by the IRFU that five players who were part of Ireland's training camp in Portugal are now set to rejoin their respective provinces as they continue their pre-season training programs. These players are Caolin Blade, Gavin Coombes, Calvin Nash, Jamie Osborne, and Kieran Treadwell.

One player who joined the squad this week is Munster prop Jeremy Loughman. The inclusion of this Munster player brings the total number of players in the Ireland training squad to 38.

Andy Farrell will announce his final 33-man Ireland squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2023 on Monday, August 28.

Ireland's team to face England this coming Saturday will also be announced later this afternoon.

The game kicks off at 5:30pm on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.
