The Football Association of Ireland has appointed Eadaoin Keane as its Marketing and Communications Director.
Eadaoin will join the association on August 1st from her role as Chief Marketing Officer with Vision Ireland, having previously worked as Irish Head of Marketing & Communications with global brand Circle K and in senior marketing roles with Aldi, Topline and Gowan Group.
With 20 years of diverse expertise in marketing, advertising and communications across well-known and respected brands, Eadaoin is ideally placed to help enhance the brand perception and reputation of Irish football, as well as drive overall participation levels within the game at all levels.
In Circle K, Eadaoin led the development of the forecourt retailer partnership with the FAI, including the title sponsorship of the Club Mark Development programme, as well as developing the media and communications strategy supporting Circle K’s sponsorship of the Olympic Federation of Ireland for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Eadaoin will join the senior leadership team to lead the marketing & communications team while playing a key role in shaping and influencing the 2026–2030 FAI strategy.

FAI Interim CEO David Courell welcomed Eadaoin by saying, "It is exciting to bring someone of Eadaoin's experience to the association to lead our Marketing and Communications Department.
