BOURNEMOUTH'S Eunan O'Kane has received his first Ireland call up as Martin O'Neill named his provisional squad for next month’s Euro 2016 qualifiers.
While O'Kane lined out against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night, Adam Rooney and Alan Judge also receive debut inclusions into the 36-man team.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has been left out of the squad as he needs more time to decide on his international future, the Irish Independent reports.
"The situation with Jack is that I had a conversation with him and his father a week or 10 days ago. I thought it was pretty fruitful and Jack - I think he will decide very very shortly," said O'Neill.
Ireland face two crucial games in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
They play Gibraltar in Faro on September 4 followed by Georgia in the Aviva Stadium three days later.
Speaking at today's press conference O’Neill said: “These are two very important games in our qualifying campaign and we are looking forward to them. The players are all now back in action with their respective clubs and will be ready for these games.
“We will be training at the new FAI National Training Centre in preparation for the trip to Faro to take on Gibraltar and the home game against Georgia at Aviva Stadium. The facilities are very impressive and we look forward to making this our training base for all future international camps.”
