ENGLAND are without a number of players for tonight's clash with Ireland - the first between the two sides since 1995.
Steven Gerrard (shoulder), Andy Carroll (heel), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Tom Cleverley (calf) and Kyle Walker all miss out, while Ashley Cole will captain England.
Robbie Keane will spearhead Ireland’s attack with Spartak Moscow’s Aiden McGeady also starting, while Stoke City’s Jonathan Walters will play on the right-side of midfield.
