More disturbing footage emerges from aftermath of McGregor v Nurmagomedov

DISTURBING FOOTAGE of a violent encounter that allegedly occurred in the aftermath of Conor McGregor's loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov has surfaced online.

It's been nearly two weeks since the Irishman lost in Las Vegas, in a defeat that prompted mass brawls both in and outside of the Octagon.

And it would appear that the fighting continued on elsewhere, with footage emerging on Twitter of another aggressive confrontation involving UFC fans.

In the clip, uploaded to Twitter, a rowdy MMA fan can be seen climbing up on furniture in a casino to confront a fellow reveller.

What starts as shouting match soon escalates though, when fellow punters begin aggressively throwing full pints of beer at the visibly inebriated man.

Even then, the man refuses to back down, continuing his verbal assault.

It's then that someone takes things to a new and dangerous extreme, launching a chair at the unruly fan's head.

The chair connects with his skull, sending him flying.

It's then that the unpleasant footage ends.

First uploaded to Twitter, where the clip has amassed close to a million views, the video first surfaced on Reddit.

One fellow Reddit user commenting on the clip claimed to have been present when the incident occurred and has confirmed that the man involved did not suffer series injuries.

The Sun, meanwhile, is reporting that the video was filmed at Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds, with a spokesperson for the venue confirming as much.

"Our security acted immediately and the male in question was escorted off the premises. VGC have a zero-tolerance policy to violent behaviour in our casino. The safety of our staff and customers is of utmost priority," they said.

Though the situation was dealt with quickly, the unpleasant scenes serve to further portray UFC in a negative light following on from the post-fight brawl involving McGregor and Nurmagomedov that saw both fighters suspended.
