For the first time in over 105 years, Cusack Park will host a Munster senior football final this year. Clare vs. Kerry will take place at the iconic Ennis venue on May 5.
The Ennis venue has only hosted the Munster final three times in it's history, and this year a coin toss was used to determine the venue for the final.

On Tuesday, Munster Council stated: “Following a toss for venue this evening, the Munster Senior Football Championship Final between Clare and Kerry will take place in Cusack Park Ennis on Sunday, May 5th, at 1:45 ."
Clare have not bested Kerry in the Munster Championship since their shock win in the 1992 Munster final, and this was their last triump in the provincial format.
Also, it will only be the third occasion the ground has hosted the provincial senior football decider, having done so for the first time in 1912. The last Munster final to be played in Ennis was back in 1919, when Kerry beat Clare by 6-11 to 2-0.
