A NUMBER of the documents in question relate to former CEO John Delaney.
The High Court is set to decide on which FAI documents are to be seized next week, according to reports.
It is believed that a number of the documents in question relate to former FAI CEO John Delaney.
According to The Journal, the High Court will receive a report that will make recommendations on what documents and material should be deemed covered legally professional privileged, and therefore cannot be used by the ODCE as part of criminal investigation into certain events at the FAI.
This comes as claims of legal professional privilege have been made in respect of approximately 1,000 documents by the FAI.
John Delaney is now said to be living in England, after having separated from his ex-girlfriend Emma English back in 2020.
In an interview with the Irish Mirror, English said: "To be perfectly honest I am sick to the teeth of hearing about John Delaney, he has absolutely nothing to do with my life anymore.
"It really doesn’t bother me if I never hear his name again. I know he is under investigation for his time in charge of the FAI but all that has nothing to do with me.
"As far as John is concerned, he is the victim and the whole world is out to get him. "I can’t say any more than that and I know he is making a new life for himself in England."
