IAN BURKE and Micheal Lundy starred as Corofin defeated reigning champions St Vincent’s in an AIB All Ireland club semi-final Tullamore thriller.
Corofin made a dashing start with Burke and Lundy instrumental, but Vincent’s netted a penalty courtesy of Mossy Quinn.
But before the break Martin Farragher, who was effective throughout, scored a vital goal for Corofin, who went in 1-8 to 1-6 ahead at half-time.
It was similarly frenetic after the restart, but Corofin finished strongly to book a place in the St Patrick’s Day decider.
