CONOR MCGREGOR surprised a group of Boston firefighters with an incredible gift: a truck full of whiskey and some tickets to the World Series.
The Irishman paid the Back Bay firehouse a visit over the weekend to show his appreciation for the heroic efforts of the Boston crew.
He brought copious amounts of his much-sought-after Proper No. 12 whiskey with him along with arguably the most sought-after tickets in town.
With the Boston Red Sox going up against the LA Dodgers in the World Series of baseball, people all over Boston have been clamouring to get their hands on a ticket to the big game.
The Red Sox will take on the Dodgers in Game 1 at Fenway Park on October 24th.
Fortunately, these firefighters had McGregor in their corner, with the Notorious delivering 10 tickets to the first game of the World Series along with the aforementioned spirit.
"Conor brought them 10 tickets to the World Series. He was hanging out with the guys, going down fire pole, he signed some bottles of his whiskey," a source told Page Six.
According to the source, the station's fire chief joked with McGregor about the tickets, saying: "That's great! I have 40 guys here - we'll have to fight for these like you."
And while McGregor may not have had tickets for everyone at the station, he was happy to hang over with the firefighters on hand and ever took the time to FaceTime with their kids.
The visit was part of the Notorious's ongoing tour to promote Proper No. 12 whiskey.
While the whiskey has divided critics, it's gone down a storm with the public and is raising money for an important cause.
$5 from every case sold is being donated to first responders.
McGregor has been in a generous mood of late, having recently used an autograph-signing session with fans to hand out even more bottles of the whiskey.
Arguably the most famous UFC star on the planet, the Irishman's popularity shows no signs of abating just yet.
