Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-17 Head Coach Colin O’Brien has named a 22-man squad for a friendly double-header against Hungary this week.
Ireland take on Hungary in Pinatar, Spain on Thursday and Saturday as they step-up preparation for their U17 EURO Qualifiers in Cyprus next month - the Young Boys in Green are in Group 6 along with Italy, Ukraine and hosts Cyrpus.O’Brien has included seven players that were part of the Ireland MU16s Victory Shield winning squad from November - Marcus Gill, Kaylem Hartnett, Matthew Moore, Niall McAndrew, Mason Melia, Ike Orazi and Matthew Murray. Finn Harps’s Aaron McLaughlin earns a first Ireland call-up.
