Clare GAA has announced that Séadna Morey has retired from senior inter-county hurling.
The Sixmilebridge man made his debut for Clare in the 2012 championship and won two All-Ireland medals, two National Leagues, three Munster and All-Ireland Under-21 titles, and two Munster Minor Championships during his career.
Announcing the news, Clare GAA released a social media post thanking him for his services to the Banner County.
"One of Clare’s most versatile and decorated players, Séadna Morey has confirmed that he is retiring from inter-county hurling," Clare GAA said in a statement.

"Debuting in 2012 (v Waterford), Séadna went on to claim two All-Ireland Senior titles with the Banner County, each bookending a brilliant career that also included two National Hurling Leagues, a hat-trick of Munster and All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling titles, as well as two Munster Minor Championships.
"We sincerely thank Séadna for everything he has done to represent Clare at the highest level since his debut twelve years ago," the statement continued.
"His speed, versatility, and consistency have been key ingredients in both Clare’s All-Ireland success this year and over the past decade in setting the standards and culture required for inter-county success."
Morey is expected to continue playing with his club, Sixmilebridge.
