What have people been saying?
Eddie Hearn: “It will be one of the greatest ever victories in Irish sport because not many people give her a big chance in this fight. In the boxing community people say ‘how does she beat Chantelle, I can’t see it’. That’s what they are saying to me.”
Carl Froch: "Katie Taylor is on the slide. I think she's had a fantastic career, she's done loads for women boxing. But her main attribute is her fitness and pace and she's tough as well. But as you get older you slow down and all of those attributes start to diminish, so if one of your main attributes is your toughness - like mine was - if you can't do the training like you used to, and you’re picking up injuries and slowing down, then you're losing half of your game.
"And I think Katie Taylor has seen better days. She will turn up and try to put on a good show, and she'll be as fit as she can be, and she'll give it a right go because she's a proper warrior in that ring - she doesn't stop throwing punches.
"But I think Cameron is too fresh and I think this fight will be the changing of the guard. Chantelle has already beaten her and I think she will do it again. Chantelle Cameron is younger and fresher and with the first win under her belt I think it’s repeat not revenge. "
What have both fighters said?
Katie Taylor: "Boxing belongs at the forefront of Irish sport, it’s our most successful sport, so to have another chance for a massive fight here is so special and to have another history-making fight where I can become a two-time two-weight undisputed champion means it’s the biggest fight of my career so far."
Chantelle Cameron:"I expect a better Katie Taylor, she needs to win against me so she can put it to bed. So I am making sure that I am lot better, I had more gears and the first fight was good but the second fight has got to be even better; I’ve got to be spiteful, go back to the old ways where I am a bit more aggressive.
