Liverpool have won the competition six times, whilst Madrid have a better record with 13.
Jurgen Klopp's side have beaten Inter Milan, Benfica, and Villareal in the knockout stages to reach the final
Madrid have had it harder playing the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, and Paris Saint Germain along the way.
The last time Liverpool bested Madrid in a European final was in 1981 in Paris, where Alan. Kennedy scored the only goal.
