Celtic have cleaned up at the PFA Scotland Awards this year.

CELTIC HAVE dominated at the PFA Scotland Awards this year. Ange Postecoglou and captain Callum McGregor have won both the manager and Scottish Premiership player of the year, while a host of other awards were won by players at the club.

The Australian (Postecoglou) has become a fan favourite at the club and was handed the award by Scotland boss Steve Clarke for his success.

There was also an award for Liel Abad, who won the young player of the year award and Celtic's Jacynta Galabadaarachchi, who won women's young player of the year.

Tom Rogic won the goal of the season for his strike against Dundee United.

Glasgow City's Priscila Chinchilla took the women's player of the year award.

Chinchilla is reigning SWPL1 champions Glasgow City's top scorer on 23 goals, with her side second in the division behind Rangers.

Celtic have won the men's and women's League Cup in recent months while the men's team are on the verge of winning a 10th top-flight title in 11 years.

Postecoglou's side can clinch the Scottish Premiership title from Old Firm rivals Rangers in his first season in Scotland, due to six-point lead with three games to go.

They could have landed the title this weekend, but were held to a 1-1 draw with Rangers this weekend.

Celtic took the lead through Jota after 21 minutes, but Sakala drew the visitors level with a powerful low drive from inside the box on 67 minutes.

Celtic can wrap up the title next week, if they beat Hearts and Rangers fail to beat Dundee United the following day.
