Cavan 2-22
London 0-11
LONDON suffered a disappointing All Ireland football qualifiers round 1a defeat against Cavan at Ruislip.
Inspired by Gearoid McKiernan, who contributed 1-6, Terry Hyland's team dominated throughout against the Exiles.
Niall McDermott struck five points as Cavan, with Tomas Corr effective, led by 0-11 to 0-4 at half-time.
Lorcan Mulvey impressed for London after the restart, but Cavan goals from McKiernan and Dara McVeety sealed the deal.
In stoppage time London's Cathal Og Greene was sent off for a second bookable offence as Cavan ran out convincing winners.
