A big thanks to all the youths who gave up their time to sell Guess 'The Score' and to all who purchased in Ruislip last Sunday. There were a few winners who will be contacted by the committee. Thanks to the County Board for all their support. All money raised for this will go towards funding the U14 Feile trip to Kerry in June. Saturday, May 28, seen a total of 25 children attended the Go Games Centre in Ruislip which was run by Lloyd Colfer CDA in London along with coaches Michaela and Tommy Kilkenny, Donal Corbett, James Carry. The children really enjoyed the opportunity to put your hurling skills into practice. Clubs involved was Kilburn Gaels, Croydon, Granuaille, Thomas McCurtains, Parnells. Compliments must go to the Clubs and coaches here in London and to the CDA Lloyd Colfer for organising a fun filled day.

ROUND TOWERS
The Towers fielded a team in the Tir Chonaill Gaels nine-a-side tournament at the weekend, where they progressed to the final but were beaten by a very strong Tir Chonaill side. Well done to all involved. This Saturday the seniors and reserves are playing at Mitcham. At 3.30 the senior team take on St Joseph’s in the Senior League, whilst the reserves play Tara at 5pm in the Reserve League. Good luck to both. All players in South London wanting to play senior football, please see following contact details: Round Towers G.F.C. South London, based in Morden-Bottom of the Northern Line tube. TIR CHONAILL GAELS
Well done to London who faced an impressive Mayo team at Ruislip at the weekend, in particular to our own players Mark Gottsche, Liam Gavaghan, Phil and Killian Butler, Gavin McEvoy and Brian McBrearty. Even Vince McCarthy got in on the act by showing off some fancy football by shimmying his way through the Mayo defence to collect a stray ball! Francie O'Donnell Memorial Cup - Five teams took part in the nine-a-side tournament in glorious conditions in Greenford at the weekend. Francie O'Donnell was a great servant to the Gaels throughout his time in London and the tournament is a fitting tribute to him. TCG Seniors, TCG Juniors, Kingdom of Kerry Gaels, St. Kiernan's and the Round Towers contested the cup with our own senior team coming out on top after meeting the Round Towers in the final. Club secretary Michael Mullen rolled back the years and played a blinder in the goals that he had just expertly fitted the nets to earlier in the morning for the Juniors, a true all-rounder! A huge thanks to Maurice Carr and his bunch of merry men for getting everything ready for the Men’s and Ladies tournaments on the day. Finally, to referees Beano Collins, Conor Kineally & Hughie McGarvey for overseeing affairs. The club would like to wish good luck to former player Benny Reilly who is moving back to Ireland and wish Benny all the best for the future.
